Questions

Does ISO 7045 or DIN 7985 matter?

Yes, slightly. The older DIN 7985 head is a little smaller and lower than ISO 7045. If your assembly has tight head clearance, name the standard you use.

Can you add a washer to these screws?

Yes. See Combi Screws with Washer: plain, spring or tooth washers can be fitted before the thread is rolled, so they cannot fall off.

Which recess size fits my screwdriver bit?

Per ISO 7045: M3 takes PH1, M4–M5 take PH2, M6 takes PH3 and M8 takes PH4.
