In-House Operations

Heading
Cold heading forms screw and bolt heads from drawn wire, fed from the coil.

Thread Rolling, Automatic & Manual
Threads are rolled, not cut: the dies form the thread by pressing the blank. Automatic machines for volume, operator-fed machines for short runs and special parts.

Traub Turning
Cam-driven Traub automatics turn diameters, steps, bores, chamfers and threads on bushes, pivots, studs and special parts.

Grinding
Centreless grinding brings diameters to a fine finish and close tolerance after turning.
Milling & Slotting
Secondary operations for flats, hex and square sections, and screwdriver slots.
Tapping
Internal threads in turned parts, nuts and standoffs.
