Questions
What is the difference between a spacer and a standoff?
A spacer is usually a plain or clearance-bore sleeve; a standoff is threaded (female-female or male-female) to hold one board or panel off another.
Which tolerance should I put on a locating diameter?
Use the fit your mating hole needs. If you're unsure, send the mating part's dimensions and we'll advise.
Do you make hex standoffs?
Yes, from hex bar, with internal or external threads at each end.
